PIGGYBACK CAFE | JINDALEE

Last week I went and visit yet another cafe (don't worry plenty of more cafes blog posts coming soon). Piggyback cafe is located in an ordinary stretch of shops in Jindalee. Piggyback Cafe is the 'Home of Unicorn Parties' and 'Masters of rainbow coffees', in other words famous for its unicorn hot chocolate and rainbow coffees. My Cousin and I ordered the Smashed Avocado, which was really delicious and I ordered the Unicorn Hot Chocolate which was super duper yummy, topped with colourful sprinkles and marshmallows.

Have you ever seen or drank a rainbow coffee before?

THE SMUG FIG | BRISBANE CAFE

This morning my cousins and I decided to go out for brunch since were on holidays now and the perfect place to have a yummy all day brunch is at the Smug Fig cafe in East Brisbane. The Smug Fig cafe shares a roof with a Clothing Store, a Florist and Antiques store and a Cottage Garden Nursery. Outside of the cafe is a bright blue shipping container (a coffee nook) which caters for takeaways and the inside of the cafe is really spacious with high ceilings, wooden decks and a play area just for kids!  The cafe is surrounded by awesome wall art and beautiful plant terrariums which create a very relaxed environment for brunching with friends, families and couples.

The Smug Fig cafe would have to be my favourite cafe in Brisbane, the food is just so good and this morning I ordered the Smashed Avo which comes with; crushed avocado, charcoal sourdough, citrus labneh, almonds, pumpkin and sesames seeds and I added a extra side - smoked salmon. I recommend coming to this cafe during the week days then the weekends, because on sundays its gets pretty packed!

Since I'm on holidays, I will be blogging a lot more on food cafes, so stay tuned!

EVE LOM ● THE RADIANT RITUAL | SKINCARE REVIEW

I have never heard of the brand Eve Lom until I received the Eve Lom - The Radiant Ritual package for my birthday a month ago. For a while I was looking for a new moisturizer and a cleanser, because I wanted a change and I was kind of over my everyday The Body Shop Vitamin E moisturizer cream.  When it comes to getting a new moisturizer  I don't even know where to start, because I'm always worried that a new moisturizer cream will give me a rash or the next day I will wake up with so many pimples on my face. There are so many brands out there, where do you even start, do you go for a drugstore moisturizer cream or a very high end one? That was my dilemma, but I'm glad I received this cute high end Eve Lom package, let me tell you, its actually really good.

In the EVE LOM - The Radiant Ritual package you receive:

+ The iconic Cleanser
+ Full sized Muslin Cloth
+ Kiss Mix
+ Brightening Cream
+ Rescue Mask

The best selling and iconic cleanser by Eve Lom is described by Vogue Uk as "probably the best cleanser in the world" which goes great with the full sized muslin cloth. The cleanser and the muslin cloth paired together, removes dead skin cells and promotes regeneration of new cells which leave your skin feeling smoother and softer. The kiss mix keeps the lips moisturised and protected during the summer and winds in the winter, super great for sore and chapped lips. The brightening cream is a intense gel cream to reverse the look of pigmentation and also to brighten up the complexion. The Rescue mask is great for congested skin and helps to boost the complexion and leaves the skin looking completely healthy and radiant.

I could honestly say that the Eve Lom cleanser and brighting cream would have to be my favourites from the the radiant ritual package! It honestly makes your complexion feel way softer and smoother and it also brighten my skin. I am glad that I've found myself a new moisturiser and cleanser and also a new mask too!

FATHER JOHN | MELBOURNE CAFE

On our last morning in Melbourne, the girls and I visited a quirky cafe called; Father John, very interesting name right? The food at Father John cafe was really yummy and inside the cafe had a really cool neon sign of "Stay Curious". What I really liked about this cafe is that they were vegetarian friendly and also had vegan food options too. We arrived at the cafe around 9:30AM and it was really busy, despite the cold (7 degrees) we all enjoyed drinking our hot chocolates and coffees too warm us before heading off to do some last minute shopping and then heading off to the airport.

At the cafe I ordered a cheese and tomato croissant (so yummy) and yet so basic (wasn't feeling too adventurous). Some of the other girls ordered smashed avocado on toast with goats cheese and cherry tomatoes which looked so good!
