Seoul, South Korea is home to 9.776 million people and is also home to many well known landmarks such as; Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, N Seoul Tower etc. Seoul, is such a large and an exciting city. I have never expected Seoul to be filled with many huge mountains and land area. Not only is Seoul huge, but also a fun and vibrant city filled with so many things to see and do. I can surely say you will never be bored in Seoul. I've never had such an amazing experience like I did in Seoul, I can say it's my one of favourite city's ever.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE VISITING S E O U L
- The local currency is the South Korea Won.
- Going by Taxis is cheaper than you think! (But not so if you're going to Gangnam). Taking the trains (subway) is super cheap, and easy to get around (Don't forget to purchase a T-Money card).
- Take the time to learn a few basic phrases: "annyeonghaseyo" ("Hello"), "juseyo" ("Please"), and my favourite is "kamsahamnida" ("Thank You").
- No tipping is required!
