SPICED CHRISTMAS COOKIES

December is a time for lots of baking! I love baking, especially baking for people during the christmas season. I made these spiced christmas cookies today and they are super EASY to make! I also love that you can make them into all different christmassy shapes but my faves would have to be the stars and snowflake cookie cutters! The recipes used to make these spiced christmas cookies and basic icing recipe are found on taste.com.

PREP TIME: 30 MINUTES | COOK TIME: 10 MINUTES | DIFFICULTY: EASY 

COOKIES INGREDIENTS

❆ 1 cup plain flour

❆ 1/2 cup brown sugar

❆ 1 teaspoon cinnamon

❆ 1/2 teaspoon mixed spice

❆ 75g unsalted butter, chopped

STEP ONE: Line two baking trays with non stick baking paper.

STEP TWO: Sift flour, sugar and spices into a large bowl. Using fingertips, rub in butter until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. add golden syrup and mix to form a soft dough. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead for one or two minutes until dough is smooth. cover with plastic wrap and chill for thirty minutes. 

STEP THREE: Preheat oven to 180c or 160c fan forced. Roll dough on a slightly floured surface until 5mm thick. Using cookie cutters, cut shapes from dough. Place on prepared trays, allowing room for spreading. Chill again for ten minutes. 

STEP FOUR: Bake for ten minutes until pale golden. Cool on trays. Decorate with basic homemade icing or whatever suits you! 

PREP TIME: 3 MINUTES | MAKES: 3/4 CUPS  | DIFFICULTY: SUPER EASY 

BASIC ICING INGREDIENTS 

❆ 1 1/2 cups icing sugar 

❆ 25g butter, softened

❆ 1 tablespoon milk or water

❆ Few drops of food colouring

STEP ONE: Using a wooden spoon, combine icing sugar, butter and milk in medium bowl until smooth. Add a touch of extra milk or water to get a glossier consistency.

STEP TWO: Add enough food colouring to tint icing to your desired colour! Mix well.

One of my favourite things about holiday season is seeing all of the christmas decorations in stores and baking gingerbread cookies! December is the time when people start wearing matching red lipsticks and nail combo during the christmas season! Red is very much in season and nothing beats a great, classic red creme for nails during the holidays. But at times, I like to switch it up by adding a little shimmer and sparkle. Summer is just around the corner and so is Christmas!

 Charlotte Tilbury has bought out this year again for christmas, the set of three mini lipsticks, which are so adorable and is the perfect stocking filler. It's small enough you could tote around the whole set in your bag (yay)! The set includes three K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipsticks in the shades; So Marilyn, Penelope Pink and Bitch Perfect. The lipsticks are quite, tiny.. like really, really tiny! I was a bit stunned when I first saw them, due to how expensive they were. But the lipsticks sets are perfect, if you never tried any Charlotte Tilbury lip products before. The formula of the lipstick are amazing and also are creamy and pigmented.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation

Happy November! 

Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favourite make up brands, and the magic foundation took around five years to make, making it to be one of my favourite all time foundations! The magic foundation is a full coverage, demi-matte, long lasting foundation. It covers up any acne, scarring, redness and discolouration - yay! 

I love Charlotte Tilbury products, even though it's a bit over priced, its worth it. I purchased the foundation from net-a-porter, my all time favourite website with super quick delivery and gorgeous packaging!

BEHIND THE SCENES | Miss Rosa Boutique

Hello September and hello SPRING! 

About 3 weeks ago, I was invited to go to Miss Rosa Boutique - photoshoot, for there new launch of their spring new arrivals! Miss Rosa Boutique is an Australian based online women's clothing boutique that ships worldwide! Miss Rosa boutique had an awesome team behind their photoshoot. A lot of hardwork was put into the shoot and I admit the photos are pretty awesome. 

Being on the shoot was really inspiring, and its was so much fun! Photographer Grace from GRACE MARKHAM PHOTOGRAPHY and Kate the HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST  were both lovely and brilliant. As well as the stunning model Isabella Gray. Check out all New Arrivals here! x

August Favourites

Hello lovelies, 

Spring is just around the corner in Australia, and the weather is getting warmer which makes me super excited. I'm looking forward to the summer months especially going to the beach and soaking up the sun and getting sand between my toes and getting ice creams!  

I thought I would share my most used and favourite products in August! 

BEAUTY 

+ Hourglass Ambient - Lighting bronzer in "Luminous Bronze Light"- Im a big fan of Hourglass blushes and powders. The bronzer is soft and blend-able and is beautiful and luminous on the skin.

+ Si Giorgio Armani perfume - This is my all time favourite perfume scent, it is a chypre scent which is a contrast between a fresh citrus and woody musky smell. Si perfume is long lasting and I definitely recommend to invest in this perfume even though its quite expensive, its worth it. 

+ Hourglass Ambient - Lighting Palette in "Dim Light | Incandescent Light | Radiant Light" - I love everything about this palette. Its easy to dip a fluffy brush into and apply to the face! Its perfect for travelling and I mostly use Dim Light and Incandescent Light shades for my face. 

+ Mac eyeshadow in "Expensive Pink"- Is a beautiful peach gold duo chrome eyeshadow. Its stays on all day definitely great for going out at night and I love how it makes my hazel green eyes stand out. 

+ Mac eyeshadow in "Phloof!"- Is a creamy off white with a bit of pink undertone and a frost finish eyeshadow. Love using this eyeshadow everyday, I'm a big fan of shimmy pink and sliver eyeshadows!

+ Mac Satin Lipstick in "Faux"- is my favourite lipstick ever. It is a great everyday nude lipstick that has mauve undertones hidden - its a great Kylie Jenner inspired lip. 

+ Zoeva brush in"126/Luxe Cheek Finish"- An amazing brush for apply any blushes on your face and  its definitely worth getting it. The brush is really soft and gentle on the skin. 

+ Soap & Glory Smoothie Oat, Sugar & Shea Breakfast Scrub -The scrub is a light brown sugar grain texture paste and it has an amazing scent and it makes me want to eat it, everytime I use it. 

OTHER

+ Casetify iPhone 6 Case  in "Anemones + Roses" - Got this case on Tuesday and I'm in love! Its my second phone case, because my first one, was a transparent clear hardshell case from Apple which got damage from me always dropping it. It was time for a change and Casetify has beautiful phone cases which I definitely recommend if your looking for a new one!

Tutti Frutti Collection | Zoella Beauty

Happy July!

It's been a while since the last time i posted. Here are some updates;

+ I've finished my first semester of university

+ Went to Europe and travelled a bit 

+ Now I'm back to university for semester two

So I've done a lot the past two months and within those months Zoella bought out her Tutti Frutti collection! 

I'm in love with the packing, its super cute and it has a very summer theme (makes me want to go back to Europe)! I really loved Zoella original range that i went out an ordered another Soak Opera, cause I already finished the bottle. I was super happy that she made another shower gel - great for travelling and another body cream that has tiny little pink beads that burst when rubbed into the skin! Also how awesome that she bought out her own body scrub?! I'm in  love with the product names - very creative and fun and the smell of them are so tutti fruiti- sweet! Unfortuntely again I wasn't able to get her Lets Spritz Spray, because FeelUnique doesn't allow it to ship to Australia.
