THE BACH LIVING | INTERIOR INSPO

A few weeks ago, when I visited Jojo's Restaurant and Bar I stumble across this super cute interior store right next to the restaurant called the "Bach Living". The Bach is a New Zealand term for a holiday home by the sea, which has beautiful furniture, homewares and a few fashion items. I thought I would share some images that I took while I was there. I was simply in love with all the furniture and homewares, defintely will be coming back here to decorate my house in the future.

COMINA CANTINA | BRISBANE CAFE

Last weekend, my cousin and I took a trip to Brisbane City to explore for some new and quirky cafes and we stumble across to a place called Comuna Cantina, a Latin inspired street food which offers a range of tacos, arepas and tortas! There was so many yummy food that we couldn't decided for a while which ones to try first.

In the end, I ordered the Comuna Nachos which consists of corn chips, melted cheese, pico de gallo, black beans and sour cream and my cousin ordered the Abundance Bowl which had quinoa, black beans, mixed salad, roasted sweet potato, cherry tomatoes, crushed tortillas, pickled onion and a light dressing on top of it all! Of course we ordered some Agua Fresca (latin mocktails) which is a traditional drink found on the streets of South America made from local and exotic fruits which our mocktails was made from strawberries, lycĂ©es and elderflower syrup!

Have you ever tried South America food before?

MY EVENING SKINCARE ROUTINE

Happy April everyone! I thought I would start this month off sharing my evening skincare routine. Over the past month I have changed most of my skincare products such as the moisturiser, toner and cleanser. I promise you that this is not a sponsored post by Avene (even though I wish it was).  I first fell in love with Avene skin care products, since I started using their Avene Cleanser Micellar water and after a couple of months later I decided to change my whole skincare range to Avene products!

I first remove my make up with using Avene Cleanance Micellar water with a big cotton pad and then I wash my face with water and add a bit of Avene Cleanance Cleansing gel onto the palm of my hands and rub it onto my face. I then use my Clarisonic Mia 2 to remove any make up that I didn't get before and wash my face again. After that, I put some of the Avene Gentle toning lotion onto a cotton pad and dab it onto my face and end the whole process with Avene Hydrance Optimal light hydrating cream. I sometimes at night use the Avene TriAcneal Expert mask and leave it overnight to get rid of any stubborn imperfections residual marks on my face!

The Avene products have been working on my skin so far but I'm always on the hunt for new skin care products. I definitely want to try Drunk Elephant products (heard some many good reviews on them) and also I want to go see a skin dermatologist!
