PEACH CAFE | BRISBANE & DECEMBER MONTHLY FAVOURITES

The Peach Cafe is nestled in the heart of Auchenflower, and offers a wide range of delicious brunch food and serves great quality hot drinks. I didn't order any food unfortunately since I was there for a quick catch up with my sister but while I was waiting in line to order my drink I stumbled across their sweets display counter and on display they had their cookie of their month which was Kinder Cookies (my two favourites, Kinder chocolate and cookies). They also had other goodies such as Nutella Lava cookies, Almond Croissants and Muffins. I obviously had to try the cookie and it was so soft and chewy and I'll definitely will be going back to try their next cookie of the month and of course I need to try out there food too!

What I ordered was a Chai Latte and the Kinder cookie and how cool is the Pink Hot Chocolate? Have you ever seen a pink hot chocolate before? I quickly skimmed over their menu to see what I want to order next time I'm there and I definitely want to try their Halloumi Hash Burger (grilled halloumi, russet potato hash, coral lettuce, hollandaise and fried egg on local milk bun) or the Winter Harvest (pumpkin croquettes, greens, poached eggs, smoked sunflowers and green goddess dressing).

OCTOBER MONTHLY FAVOURITES & Hello 2020!

Hello 2020!

Can't believe my last blog post was back in July 2019.. its not to late to start with 'January October monthly favourites' right? Who ever thought that 2020 would bring the whole world into a lockdown?? No travelling, seeing friends or family, working from home, can't go more than 5km from home, shortage of toilet paper and carbohydrates foods etc.. what a year! I think its safe to say that we're all looking forward to 2021!

Going back to last year, 2019.. I did quite a bit of travelling and went to South Korea, China, Abu Dhabi, Serbia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Croatia & Italy! I also traveled by myself internationally for the first time ever!! I realised I definitely like having a travel buddy! I also did zip lining which is always so fun at Mount Tamborine and I also tried paddle boarding for the first time in OPEN WATERS at Byron Bay Beach and never again will I do paddle boarding at a beach! I definitely need to try again BUT in a canal, to get use to it!

As for this year in January, I got to finally see my all time favourite tennis player Novak Djokovic play. I travelled to Melbourne and saw KAWS: Companionship in The Age of Loneliness Exhibition, hosted a few BBQs and made a Lotus biscoff Cheesecake! Had day drips to Noosa, picnics in the Park, did some hiking and ate a lot of yummy Korean food!

Unfortunately my travels for this year is a no go and to think that in only 37 days I would be heading of to explore Japan for the first time seeing Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima etc Ahh makes me so sad!! Hoping for next year I get to explore the beautiful country Japan and of course make a cheeky stop over by South Korea as well! Here are some photos of 2020 so far..
